Do I have to book my ticket online?

We recommend booking your ticket before your visit for faster admission to the museum.

Tickets can be bought at the museum ticket desks or at the ticket machines. We recommend contactless credit card payment.

I am usually eligible for free admission to the museum. Do I need to book my ticket?

All visitors must have a ticket with the exception of members and friends of the museum who may access all the museum spaces on presentation of their valid card. In order to guarantee your access to the museum, it is strongly recommended that visitors eligible for free admission book a free ticket to ensure faster admission (you will be asked to present proof of eligibility at the entrance point).

I already have a ticket (purchased from a higher education council, works council or reseller). Can I use it?

We strongly recommend booking a free online ticket and presenting your ticket purchased from your higher education council, works council or a reseller at the entrance point as proof.

Can I pay with standard payment methods at the museum? For example, can I pay in cash?

Cash is accepted, however, we recommend bank card payment, and particularly contactless payment.

Can I come to the museum at any time with my ticket?

To ensure your visit goes smoothly, please respect the chosen date and time slot. You must arrive fifteen minutes before the time indicated on your ticket.

What measures are in place to ensure the safety of visitors and your teams?

Cleaning and disinfecting protocols have been stepped up, both in terms of the spaces (toilets, handles and handrails, etc.) and the equipment provided, such as audioguides. Various hand sanitising gel distributors are located in the museum spaces. Specific COVID-19 signage provides reminders of health guidelines, hygiene and social distancing.

Are audioguides available? Does use of this type of device come with a risk?

Audioguides are available at the usual prices (prices available here).

To allow you to make best use of the audioguide with peace of mind:

  • The devices and earphones are meticulously cleaned before and after each use.
  • Visitors wishing to use their own earphones may do so, as our multimedia guides are compatible with all types of earphones and headphones.
  • Single-use protective covers for earphones and disinfectant wipes can also be supplied on request.
